AMG EXPERT REVIEW: Recorded in Amsterdam while Perry was
allegedly gobbling acid by the handful, Return is a truly
spacy, meandering, borderline incoherent, but frequently
amazing recording. As if Perry needed chemical stimulation
to be far out, this record is a stunning glimpse of how far
he was planning to push the production envelope. Must be
heard to be believed.
