HyperXclusive is delighted to have been asked by Dutch label Rejected to assist
in the promotion of their latest release, which comes courtesy of label head
honcho's Joris Voorn and Edwin Oosterwal, also known collectively as...
Rejected. The new release is a remix package of two of their biggest his to
date, the awesome "Lets Go Juno" and the excellent "Cliche". To provide the
remixes, the guys have called in some of the hottest Dutch talent. 2005 saw the
first collaboration from Bart Skills and Anton Pieete. Together as "District
One" they have produced a hostof EP's for Dutch labels 100% Pure, Intacto and
Remote Area. All have found support from key played such as Sven Vath, Ellen
Alien, Luciano and Richie Hawtin. Here their remix of "Lets Go Juno" has the
potential to become one 2008's biggest festival anthems. Very much an old skool
warehouse feel, the mix is wonderfully uplifting. With ravey yet subtlesynth
builds and wonderful timing throughout, this really will destroy any floor its
dropped on!On the remix of Cliche, its another Dutch duo tearing it up. Lauhaus
and David Labeij, after making their names DJ'ing onthe minimal/techno circuit,
teamed up in 2004. With the collaboration producing studio success, and with
releases on Intacto, Remote Area and 100% Pure, it was the pairing's differing
sounds that when combined, resulted in such wonderful music. Together as Polder
they have reworked Cliche into a hypnotic, rolling, funky techno masterpiece.
