Blessed be the man that Walketh not In the counsel of the
Ungodly. Nor standeth in the ways of Sinners. Nor sitteth
in the seat of the Scornful. For I delight is in RAC
Therefore I&I must be like a tree Planted by the rivers
of Water. And bringeth forth Fruit in due season.
And what so ever I doeth shall Prosper
The weakhearted are Not so, Oh no!
They are like the Chaff that the wind Driveth away.
Therefore no weakheartman Shall stand in the Judgement
Nor no Sinners in the congregation of the Righteous.
RAC knoweth the ways of the Righteous
And know that the ways of the Weakheart shall crumble,
paralyse and Burn

Ras designed Ras Portraits as a concise introduction to a
particular artist's recordings for the label. Since the
information behind Ras releases is always shady, it's
difficult to discern the origin of tracks on Ras Portraits,
but the disc is one of the better collections of Dean Fraser
material that Ras has released, and listeners curious about
his albums for the label should start here. It should not,
however, be seen as a definitive introduction to his music
in general. Among the featured tracks on Fraser's Ras
Portrait are "Roots Rock Reggae," "Johnny Was," "Africa
Unite," "Zimbabwe," "Ram Dancehall," "Bad Card," "Crazy
Baldheads," "Chant Down Babylon" and "Unforgettable."
