"Strike The Balance" is one of those albums which brings
back some specific recollections for the author of the
sleevenotes of the On-U Sound "Master Recording", and
althrough - as a rule - i would not let any subjectivity
unduly influence the content of these notes, in this
instance I will make an exception.
I fully confess to giving this album its rather prosaic
title. As was usually the case down at On-U HQ, an album has
been finished and it was time to get down to the boring
routine of manufacture, distribution, promotion and sale - a
process traditionally never approached with any freat
enthusiasm by On-U staffers through the years.
