▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Notes And Comments About The Release ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀

This compilation compiles Tubby mixed tracks which were done
exclusively for his sound system. According to the liner notes the CD
it "Was effectively mastered with valve stages and analogue tape,
without the use of computers or other digital technology, resulting,
we feel, in a superior sound that is closest to what the producers
     and artists originally intended".

Whatever the reason, this release sounds fantastic and emits a warmth
and subtlety which puts me in mind of the 3 "Dub Conference"
collaborations with Harry Mudie. Unreservedly recommended.

Unusually, it collects the dub sides together separately from the
vocal tracks. Despite initial reservations about the wisdom of this,
it does in fact flow really well.
