│ Gallery is a new label started by well known producers JT ││
│ Donaldson and Tim Shumaker of 2nd Shift. With the combined ││
│ knowledge and expertise these guys have in their fields, ││
│ this label will be one to watch for. JT Donaldson's been ││
│ turning in impeccable work on the labels Fair Park, Classic, ││
│ Lowdown, Cyclo, and Icon while Tim Shumaker is known for his ││
│ solid production as Home and Garden on labels like Classic, ││
│ Music For Freaks, Central Park, Nordic Trax and Aesoteric. ││
│ The label's premiere release is by PTY Ltd., a live ││
│ performance band making waves from Brisbane, Australia. The ││
│ EP begins Joshua's remix of Feeling's Gone, a slammin little ││
│ number with a thick kick, even thicker bassline and chords ││
│ lifted from the original. Joshua's always been known to turn ││
│ a remix out, but this is really something special watch the ││
│ bass on this! Flip the record over and you get the original ││
│ Feeling's Gone by PTY Ltd, a solid track in its own right. ││
│ On the inside is Who's Been Watching You, a more jazz ││
│ influenced piece with syncopated beats, lovely Rhodes keys, ││
│ and analog sound effects. Definitely a strong start for a ││
│ new label start-up. Keep an eye out for the next release ││
│ with remixes of Who's Been Watching You by Derrick Carter. ││
