| | With their latest project, AUTOPSY, Gridlok | |
| | and AK1200 join forces to perform the latter | |
| | on the Drum & Bass scene. With an aim to push | |
| | DnB into the forefront of the Electronic | |
| | Music scene once again, AUTOPSY is designed | |
| | to strip the sound back to its bare elements, | |
| | rediscover our music's soul and bring it | |
| | forward. Stretched along a massive 2xCD | |
| | release (disc one is mixed by AK1200 & | |
| | Gridlok, with disc two being unmixed and | |
| | featuring a diverse selection of sounds), | |
| | this release is bound to refocus the | |
| | perceptions of many junglists, and hopefully | |
| | injects some much needed soul and variety | |
| | into a scene that can, at times, come across | |
| | as being segregated and stale. | |

| | CD2 is also an interactive CD-ROM, and | |
| | includes 'separated parts from "Labrat", plus | |
| | much more'. Over in the DOA News war-room, we | |
| | are currently vibing to Gridlok's "Sludge", | |
| | which is a throwback to that neuro sound from | |
| | years ago, and tracks like "Labrat" bring the | |
| | big funky bass right to your face. The | |
| | 'Ground Down Mix' of Gutterfuker flips the | |
| | script, taking this cut into some nasty | |
| | downtempo/Hip-Hop depths, a definite surprise | |
| | that you could work into your DnB sets | |
| | with ease. Mash-ups like "Porn Star Feeder" | |
| | are always a blessing, especially given how | |
| | popular AK1200 & Danny Breaks' "Deep Porn | |
| | VIP" was 8, 9 years ago. Gems like "Cracks | |
| | In The Ceiling", "The Autopsy" and | |
| | "Counter Culture", among some of the | |
| | exclusives in the mix make this one a | |
| | definite summer blockbuster. Get out your lab | |
| | coats and sit in on the proceedings. | |
