This is a weird one. Bpitch stalwart, Kiki has been inspired to create some epic
Western-themed techno, apparently prompted by a love of director, Wim Wenders.
The intention was to create a cinematic "musical desert landscape". Not sure if
that's quite the outcome, but what you do get is a curious collision of driving
technoid beats and wispy undercurrents of ambient synth tones. The 'Cowboy Mix'
even includes some Ry Cooder-lite slide guitar phrases thrown into the mix.
Bizarre, but by no means unappealing.
