Release Notes :
Something for your mind ...It isn't just since their excellent releases on
Pickadoll and Cocoon Recordings and their remix work for Underworld or John
Dahlback that Igor Tchkotoua and Dan Duncan, a.k.a. Pig & Dan, have been amongst
the most influential protagonists of Balearic techno music. With their debut
maxi for Datapunk, both are once more impressively proving their good nose for
powerful yet harmonic state-of-the-art techno music. 'Dream of Bells' is
situated convincingly in the golden centre between a modern Chicago sound,
percussive acid and psycho actively blurred digital cembalo; and the more
powerful subwoofer orgy of 'Subculture' also vibrates with restless modulations
and metallic percussions through an acid bath, and without 303 cliche sounds.
