█ The released was purchased in a lossless wavpack format (refer to ai.jpg).
█ Analysis of the current mp3council rules v1.1 stipulate wavpack format is not
█ allowed to be released. As such, we decided to encode it to -V2 --vbr-new
█ standard. Considering the lossless format of the source, re-encoding of the
█ source audio does not result is a degrade of quality, since the lossless
█ source audio is identical quality-wise to a CDDA rip. mp3rules also state WEB
█ releases must remain untouched, but we can probably infer the council refers
█ to mp3s only. Makes sense to encode to scene standard when you essentially
█ have a CDDA rip in front of you, doesnt it?
