"Hard house is currently the sound of now - but it's taken
pioneering labels such as Tripoli Trax, Tidy Trax, Nukleuz,
Tinrib and Kaktai almost five years to build and establish a
sound which is now at the forefront of the UK club scene!

More and more clubs are bangin' out hard house and also
following the after hours format of the legendary night
Trade. Insomniacs across the country are spending the early
hours of Sunday morning punching the air to the hard grooves
and Hoover anthems that keep the mashed clubber from his or
 her duvet.

Hard house compilations are now springing up everwhere but
most of them have not quite captured the true sound or
 feeling of the scene.

Tidy Trax thought it was now time to deliver an
uncompromising compilation that a real Hard House insomniac
could relate to - with no top 40 hits in sight.

The Tidy Boys bounce you through CD1 with a set straight out
of Sundissential before teeing up Sheffield's finest
resident Paul Glazby who takes over on CD2 with a full on
Hard House work out to satisfy any of those thousands of
insomniacs who stalk our clubs every weekend!"

From Muzik magazine issue #66, November 2000:

 What's it all about?

Tidy keeping the ever-growing hard house massive happy. Mixed
by The Tidy Boys and Paul Glazby, resident at Sheffield's
 after-hours club Insomniacz.

 What's on it?

The bouncy and banging ends of the spectrum: lots of Tidy
anthems, and big summer favourites from Praga Khan,
Gridlock 3000, Ingo Star, 12-inch Thumpers, OD404, Andy
Farley and Billy Bunter, F1, RR Fierce and Lemon 8.

 Any cop then?

You won't get much sleep with this. The Tidy Boys' mix builds
nicely from Hani to Ian M's thunderous Dyewitness remix,
while Glazby's starts as it finishes - mean and manic, hot
and sweaty - so you get the best of both worlds.
