While on tour in the US last October to promote his mix CD 'Beatz & Bobz Vol 1'
Darren Chapman teamed up with Florida's breakbeat bad boys 'The Brothers of
Funk' to produce his first record. Three days in the studio with Johnny, Kimmi
(owners of Freakin Music) and Oscar and the first collaboration between Freakin
Music and Functional Breaks is ready to rock the dancefloors of the world in
the shape of 'G13' Mixes come from Functional Break's Spoon Wizard who funks
the tune up, with the other mix coming from Florida outfit Sensei (who are
Johnny Dangerously and electro DJ/Producer BFX) take tune a bit harder and
darker. Sensei will be releasing one of their own productions 'I'm The Only
one' on Functional Breaks in the near future. G13 gets a full release on
Functional Breaks in June 2000 and was promo'd on vinyl at this year's Winter
Music Conference in Miami Florida with excellent reactions.
