A wonderfully eccentric plate from Eskimo recordings' Neil dunn aka Richard
Gateaux for this release with three tracks of Italo and sinister disco infected
dancefloor gear. 'Monks On The Run' contains a clue in the title, utilising
monk chants for a bit of tongue-in-cheek drama but this soon gives way to a fat
rolling square bass Italo track with massive potential. Expect to hear this in
sets of everyone from Optimo to Lindstrom. the flipside drops the tempo to sub
110bpm on 'Swalbar' with a tense cinematic disco roller, and finishes with the
80's post disco funk of 'Free To Touch'. Excellent stuff.
