 ALEJANDRO FRANOV (born 1972, resides in Buenos Aires) is one of the most      
 important musicians in Argentina, brought to worldwide critical acclaim by    
 singer/sonwriter and actress Juana Molina. FRANOV worked as a sound producer  
 for Juana's three albums, "Segundo" (2000), "Tres Cosas" (2002) and "Son"     
 (2006). After the success of his last album "Khali" (having been licensed to  
 the German label Staubgold for worldwide release), "Aixa" is his latest       
 update.                                                                       
 Compared to the more composed and acoustic "Khali" album, "Aixa" takes steps  
 further into the sounds experimenting with tones, textures and spaces - the   
 fundamentals and joy of making music.                                         
 In the creation of the album, his usual ethnical instruments were used such as
 sitar, kalimbas, Paraguayan harps and Chinese gongs to obtain the magical and 
 border-less FRANOV sound, but he also used more electronic devices this time  
 manipulating over 10 analog outboards.
