Another week, another sick release from TRG! Our favourite Romanian
dubstep producer (admittedly there's not much of a contest for the title)
attempts to define that feeling you all know very well with 'Post rave
blues', taking blatant cues from Burial with a moody swirl of found sound
and dislocated rave signals creating lsuh atmospheres over a truly killer
and original beat which borrows percussive timbres from Shackleton and
fixes them into a swung and fractured 2-step pattern requiring some slinky
moves on the floor. 'Less music' follows a similar route on the flip, this
time slightly less esoteric but just as stripped and effective. If you
liked his recent cut for HotFlush, or have fallen in love with Burial,
Shackleton, Martyn or 2562 we highly recommend you stick this in your bag.
