Music At Nite is a project from brothers D & C Clark hailing from Glasgow. D (Dave to his mum) is well
known in Scotland from his regular live shows at the now legendary Pure parties in Edinburgh, under the
guise State Of Flux. More recently he's been known for recording as 'Truffle Club', on Dissident,
O.S.C.A.R.R. (The label of Optimo) and Stuffrecords - home of the first ever released Truffle Club track
"Portland" - a massive favourite with Ricardo Viillalobos who told us it was one of his favourite tracks of all
time. You might also recognize him from his work as one half of the Optimo remix team beside J.D.
Twitch, with whom he's been called upon by labels such as DFA, Tigersushi and Eskimo. With "City To
City" the duo have come up with a truly vintage four tracker, absorbing influences ranging from the glitches
of Akufen to the motor-city aquaticism of Drexciya, resulting in one of the freshest records you're likely to
hear this year.
