Release Notes :
THE MACHINES is a futuristic band created by two international producers, Anton
Neumark & Alex Camel
Anton Neumark is a leading member of an emerging group of Russian DJs who
rightly lay claim to pioneering electronic dance music in their home. With an
impressive musical pedigree behind him, this St Petersburg-based DJ and producer
plays all over Russia, Ukraine and beyond, and is a Gallery resident when the
club hosts nights in Moscow. Anton has always been one step ahead of the
burgeoning Russian dance scene and his productions have been released on labels
such as Universal, Whoop, BugEyed & Cosmonote and has also worked with
D.Ramirez, on their track 'Satisfaction Generation'
Alex Camel has produced alongside some of the scene's hottest producers,
including , David Gausa & King Rock. As the resident sound producer at the
Ataraxy Records studio, he has worked with Anton for many years & their new
project has given them both an outlet for their long term building of
soundscapes
Their first album, as The Machines, is a synthesis of music, video and live
sound based around the concept of machines and life. "We want to show the world
of machines from another side. In this world machines are like people. They have
souls, they can speak, feel and even love" - say the guys.
THE MACHINES, on stage, incorporate live sound, video and performance. Energetic
like Chemical Brothers, mysterious like Daft Punk and technological like
Kraftwerk they invite you into the world of robots, machines and automats.
