Disco power moves from Kitsune this week with a pristine set of remixes of
Digitalism's most popular moments from Proxy, Breakbot, Fred Falke, DerDieDas
and Siriusmo. The neccessary ear shredding synthlines come from Proxy first
with a mix of 'Home Zone' packed tightly for the peak timers, while Breakbot
turn 'Apollo-Gize' into a proggy disco beast with a tidy disco track giving way
to angular edits and a snarling digital synthline. Fred Falke does what he does
best with a slapped bass disco shimmy, and DerDieDas turn in a suitably trendy
electroid variant with a shoulder rocking 80's lean, leaving Siriusmo to clean
up with a superb version of 'Echoes', showing why he's garnered so much
attention over the last 18 months with a euphoric builder displaying some
wicked sound design talent.
