Glasvegas are a 4 piece from the tough East End of Glasgow,
who fuse a wall of sound noise that is equal parts Jesus and
Mary Chain, Elvis and Phil Spector combined with a pop
sensibility inspiredby 60s girl pop and Doo Wop. This 2-disc
edition comprises the 10-track CD album featuring the singles
'Stabbed', 'Go Square Go', 'Daddy's Gone', 'It's My Own
Cheating Heart That Makes Me Cry' & 'Geraldine'; plus the
Bonus 'A Snowflake Fell' 6-track Xmas CD which was recorded in
Transylvania in October and finds The Concentus Choir singing
'Silent Night' [in English & Romanian] at St Nicholas Church
in Brasov; and includes 'Careful What You Wish For', 'F*ck
You, It's over', 'Cruel Moon' & 'Please Come Back Home'.
