| Scandinavian scene, but a set that shines with |
| the same depth and presence as his other |
| collaborative work! Wiik's playing a Steinway D |
| here -- and the recording quality has a very open |
| feel -- the sense of space that we've always |
| noted in Havard's other work, but which here |
| almost seems to allow the notes to flow out and |
| echo back -- answering themselves in succession, |
| and creating a sense of counterpoint even when |
| the sound is gentle. Titles include "Ennui", |
