| | head honcho of the legendary Brain, Brain | |
| | Progression, and Joker labels revamps and | |
| | relaunches Brain for the new millennium. | |
| | First out of the gates are two manic, mental | |
| | monsters, easily recalling his best work | |
| | circa 1993, ala "Slow Jam", "Dubplate Wars", | |
| | and "Dark III", but infusing it with more | |
| | modern techniques. | |

| | The A-side, "Afraid Of The Dark", is full on | |
| | amen madness, making the breakbeat sound | |
| | twice as fast as it ever has. Piercing | |
| | mentasm hoovers cut into you like knives. | |
| | And the bass makes you lose all control. | |

| | On the flip-side, Bizzy brings out "The | |
| | Darkside", a tribute to the evil-sounding | |
| | tracks of 1993 by way of 2003. After a | |
| | misleading Think break intro, and a sinister | |
| | drop... all hell breaks loose. Insane drum | |
| | programming, dark stabs and ravey synths | |
| | slicing in and out... it's all a mad, | |
| | beautiful mess. | |
