The Brooklyn barrio boys are back with another Latin B-Boy
party-starter! Spill a little "Salsa Verde" on the dancefloor and watch
the Coalition work, with big drums, stinging horns, crisp percussion
breaks and a ridiculous organ solo from Antibalas/Dap-Kings keyboardist
Victor Axelrod (aka Ticklah) that touches on the fire of Eddie
Palmieri's live shows from the '70s. On the flipside, "Pachanga Pistola"
slows the tempo to a sexy grind and licks a shot at weaksauce latin
pretenders with a pistol-packing tribute to Cumbia's rhythmic daddy, the
Pachanga. Wait for the epic bassline!
