treating us to a re-release of their sell out 7" from
July and making it available on CD now as well. The
sound is loud and the pace is relentless as the boys
scream and combine angular guitars and hollow synths
into a classic rock sound with dance energy. It is
the attitude that sets Death From Above 1979 apart
from any peers they have. They have a disaffected
punk vitality that is highly infectious.
There are different b-sides available for both the 7"
releases as well as on the CD. 'YouÆre Lovely (But
YouÆve Got Problems)' continues the high energy but
with a 70's rock slant, there is a cover of La
Peste's 'Better Off Dead' and finally the Alan Braxe
remix of 'Blood On Our Hands' is available on the CD.
