│Valerie Etienne is probably best known for │
│her work with legendary Britfunk/rap/soul/jazz │
│pioneers Galliano. │
│She's also done co-operation with Count Basic │
│and lately with Dominic Stanton aka Domu │
│(Check out the │
│Kyoto Jazz Massive presents Crossbreed vol 2 │
│album [for life records]). The man behind │
│this album is Ski Oakenfull who's done programming │
│and plays Keyboards. Although album is aimed to │
│the mainstream market it easily stands out of │
│the crowd with it's warm keyboard sounds, │
│occasional jazzy guitar sweeps, phasing effects │
│and above all The perfect harmony Valerie's │
│Voice creates. I've always said Monday Michiru │
│is the Queen and The Diva of the future soul but │
│I now gladly pull back my words... I lost my │
│soul to Valerie Etienne. According to my │
│resources Valerie is in Studio (or has been) │
│and we can expect soon more soulful sounds from her. │
