██▓▓ The name Jason Moore is one of those ██▓▓
██▓▓ familiar names that you are likely to hear ██▓▓
██▓▓ brandished about in various circles, but are ██▓▓
██▓▓ never quite able to place. His career in the ██▓▓
██▓▓ music business has spanned more than a ██▓▓
██▓▓ decade and delve a little deeper and you ██▓▓
██▓▓ will uncover one resounding and defining ██▓▓
██▓▓ element. He is regarded by many of his peers ██▓▓
██▓▓ as one of the hardest working and most ██▓▓
██▓▓ professional operators in the business, ██▓▓
██▓▓ preferring to slip quietly into the shadows, ██▓▓
██▓▓ letting his achievements stand for ██▓▓
██▓▓ themselves and others to do the talking. ██▓▓
██▓▓ ██▓▓
██▓▓ He began DJÆing, organising parties and ██▓▓
██▓▓ promoting clubs in the late eighties, ██▓▓
██▓▓ influenced notably by DJs like Nicky ██▓▓
██▓▓ Holloway, Jon Jules and Tony Jenkins who he ██▓▓
██▓▓ still considers to be his mentors. He ██▓▓
██▓▓ developed a reputation and a mailing list ██▓▓
██▓▓ around his local scene, playing regularly at ██▓▓
██▓▓ Leon Lenik and Andrew RidgleyÆs "92Æs" bar ██▓▓
██▓▓ in Rickmansworth in Hertfordshire and also ██▓▓
██▓▓ at Brunel University. Landmark parties ██▓▓
██▓▓ included those he hosted for Virgin at ██▓▓
██▓▓ Londonæs Museum Of The Moving Image and ██▓▓
██▓▓ Limelight Video at the infamous Groucho Club ██▓▓
██▓▓ in Soho. ██▓▓
██▓▓ ██▓▓
██▓▓ In 1994, Journeys by DJ spotted Jason and ██▓▓
██▓▓ signed him to their management company. He ██▓▓
██▓▓ went on to tour with JDJ throughout the ██▓▓
██▓▓ world and established himself as their main ██▓▓
██▓▓ resident. Jason was also the main ██▓▓
██▓▓ resident/promoter for JDJ's flagship London ██▓▓
██▓▓ night, Triptonite at The End. His ██▓▓
██▓▓ affiliation with JDJ kept him amongst all ██▓▓
██▓▓ the main players in the world of underground ██▓▓
██▓▓ house music and this led up to Jason ██▓▓
██▓▓ compiling and mixing JDJ CD, Triptonite. ██▓▓
██▓▓ This received critical acclaim from press ██▓▓
██▓▓ and DJs alike, with exclusive or unreleased ██▓▓
██▓▓ tracks coming from Ian Pooley, Charles ██▓▓
██▓▓ Webster, Ashley Beedle, Shades Of Rhythm, ██▓▓
██▓▓ Paper recordings, Chris Simmons, KillerLoop ██▓▓
██▓▓ and Hot Lizzard, establishing him as a DJ ██▓▓
██▓▓ throughout the UK. Jason has DJ'd with just ██▓▓
██▓▓ about every name you would care to mention ██▓▓
██▓▓ and he has shared residencies with the likes ██▓▓
██▓▓ of Danny Rampling, Bert Bevans, Justin ██▓▓
██▓▓ Berkman, Nicky Holloway, Juan Atkins, Chad ██▓▓
██▓▓ Jackson, Dave Angel, Terry Francis, Adam ██▓▓

██▓▓ and many others. Notable clubs in the UK ██▓▓

██▓▓ Slinky, The Vaults, The Gardening Club, and ██▓▓

██▓▓ He produced and presented JDJ Radio on ██▓▓
██▓▓ pirate, Face FM and brought DJs on to the ██▓▓
██▓▓ show like Rocky (X-Press 2), Ashley Beedle ██▓▓
██▓▓ (Black Science Orchestra), Dave Hill ██▓▓
██▓▓ (Nuphonic) and Charles Webster (Presence). ██▓▓
██▓▓ After one too many close calls with the DTI, ██▓▓
██▓▓ a new direction was needed and he was ██▓▓
██▓▓ instrumental in pioneering his show across ██▓▓
██▓▓ to the Internet, and become part of the UKÆs ██▓▓
██▓▓ first Internet radio station, InterFACE. ██▓▓
██▓▓ ██▓▓
██▓▓ In 1997, Jason moved his show over to Mr. ██▓▓
██▓▓ CÆs Internet radio station, Gaialive. His ██▓▓
██▓▓ show achieved record listening figures ██▓▓
██▓▓ against a formidable roster of thirty DJs, ██▓▓
██▓▓ coming second only to Gilles Peterson's. ██▓▓
██▓▓ Jason also started a new radio show in ██▓▓
██▓▓ Edinburgh on Fresh Air FM, coinciding with ██▓▓
██▓▓ JDJ night, Triptonite North. ██▓▓
██▓▓ ██▓▓
██▓▓ In November 1997, Jason created ██▓▓
██▓▓ 'departurelounge' with legendary Manc' house ██▓▓
██▓▓ producer Si Brad, releasing "nu odyssey" on ██▓▓
██▓▓ Paper recordings, again to much critical ██▓▓
██▓▓ acclaim. It was pushed heavily on Radio One ██▓▓
██▓▓ by Carl Cox (who had also bid for the ██▓▓
██▓▓ track), Deep Dish, Carl Craig and the ██▓▓
██▓▓ Detroit DJs at Planet Rock. ██▓▓

██▓▓ In the same year, Jason was also asked to ██▓▓
██▓▓ provide his expertise to one of London's ██▓▓
██▓▓ leading bars, The Edge in Soho Square. He ██▓▓
██▓▓ headed the management team which aquired the ██▓▓
██▓▓ freehold of the building, helping to secure ██▓▓
██▓▓ The Edge's future against formidable ██▓▓
██▓▓ competition and odds. ██▓▓

██▓▓ 1998 brought two new residencies: Phil ██▓▓
██▓▓ Perry's new club 'SOS' in Kingston and ██▓▓
██▓▓ 'Wildlife' at Richard Branson's world famous ██▓▓
██▓▓ Heaven Nightclub on Fridays, which Jason ██▓▓
██▓▓ also co-promoted. JasonÆs vision and ██▓▓
██▓▓ creative input didnÆt go unnoticed and he ██▓▓
██▓▓ took over full control of Friday nights at ██▓▓
██▓▓ Heaven in April 1999. He started ██▓▓
██▓▓ 'urbantorque' and immediately secured an ██▓▓
██▓▓ exclusive European residency from Detroit ██▓▓
██▓▓ legend, Juan Atkins. Dave Angel was also ██▓▓
██▓▓ named as a resident, as were undisputed ██▓▓
██▓▓ leaders of the nu skool, 'FRICTION' and Full ██▓▓
██▓▓ Circle Sunday session ambassador, Phil ██▓▓

██▓▓ 1999 has been a busy year for Jason. A guest ██▓▓
██▓▓ mix on Danny RamplingÆs Radio One show, ██▓▓
██▓▓ DJ'ing and head of promotions for 'There' at ██▓▓
██▓▓ Heaven and still managing to find time to ██▓▓
██▓▓ build a recording studio, start a record ██▓▓
██▓▓ label 'rhetoric', release three singles and ██▓▓
██▓▓ sign one of his favourite bands and close ██▓▓
██▓▓ friends, 'Shades Of Rhythm'. ██▓▓
██▓▓ ██▓▓
██▓▓ Jason also co-ordinated and staged one of ██▓▓
██▓▓ London's biggest parties last year. The ██▓▓
██▓▓ ffrr/Mixmag Essential Christmas in ██▓▓
██▓▓ conjunction with his own night, "There" at ██▓▓
██▓▓ Heaven. His aim is to make Hub London's ██▓▓
██▓▓ premier club production company, catering ██▓▓
██▓▓ for high profile events, record companies, ██▓▓
██▓▓ celebrities, television, press and media. ██▓▓

██▓▓ and the club. The difference being that we ██▓▓
██▓▓ speak both languages and can recognise, ██▓▓
██▓▓ visualise and implement directives on almost ██▓▓
██▓▓ any scale, without compromising any ██▓▓
██▓▓ attention to detail. We are also fully ██▓▓
██▓▓ geared for all the latest changes in ██▓▓
██▓▓ technology and use the Internet to ██▓▓
██▓▓ co-ordinate most of our work across the ██▓▓
██▓▓ globe. We are also developing the latest in ██▓▓
██▓▓ WAP technology to assist us, utilising the ██▓▓
██▓▓ Internet and mobile phone networks. The next ██▓▓
██▓▓ generation of mobile phones (WAP) will all ██▓▓
██▓▓ be plumbed into the Internet and we'll be ██▓▓
██▓▓ right there with them. Sure, many people ██▓▓
██▓▓ have a computer or laptop, but one in two ██▓▓
██▓▓ people have a mobile phone. I can't say too ██▓▓
██▓▓ much at this stage, but the possibilities ██▓▓
██▓▓ are mind blowing and we are the first in ██▓▓
██▓▓ this area and have the expertise to do it. ██▓▓
