Release Notes:
--------
Casual relationships vs. real love. Rebellion against authority vs. upward
mobility. Artistic integrity vs. commercial viability. Following up the
semi-eponymously titled debut album Crazed Out, the band Crazed Outlook artfully
dodges the sophomoric slump with Double Talk, a fiercely dynamic power pop
contradiction. Produced by Derek Euston of The Green Room, each track offers
sonic surprises and distinct edginess, while flaunting infectious pop hooks. The
world we live in makes sense only when you understand its complexities, double
standards and understated hypocrisies. Double Talk embraces this premise with a
cohesiveness that is equally audacious and introspective. The album begs to be
listened to in its entirety. Standout tracks include Society Says, Self Sympathy
and Breakup Songs Are Boring.
