█▀░░ PsyCZ group was formed in spring 2001 by its first three members ... ░░▀█
█▀░ But as every group grows and gets new members, new people joined PsyCZ ░▀█
█▀░ to help us in our mission. Our main common loved genere was psychedelic ░▀█
█▀░ ... of course, but everone of us likes several more genres. This caused, ░▀█
█▀░ that several members began to demand releasing other music styles such ░▀█
█▀░ as ambient, drum&bass and few more ... So we realized, that our original ░▀█
█▀░ name PsyCZ is a little uncomfortable, because it highlights our psy - ░▀█
█▀░ sight. After few days of debates we decided to found new sub-group ... ░▀█
█▀░ and here we are ... PsyCZ_NP will bring you plenty of non psychedelic ░▀█
█▀░ music ... especially ambient, but some other genres are planned too. ░▀█
█▀░ Why did we decide for non-psy? Changing of the group name isn't possible ░▀█
█▀░ so possibilities we had was only adding a suffix to current group name ░▀█
█▀░░ ... so have chosen non-psy, because it's clearest and most fluent ... ░░▀█

█▀║ It has been said that one of the functions of the artist is to ║▀█
█▀║ interpret and reflect the immediate working environment. ║▀█
█▀║ ║▀█
█▀║ When we started recording our new album "Love Phliltre Magick" we ║▀█
█▀║ relocated to an old thatched house on the outskirts of London and our ║▀█
█▀║ recording environment suddenly felt a million miles from the heart of ║▀█
█▀║ Brixton where we have always worked in the past. ║▀█
█▀║ ║▀█
█▀║ It soon became apparent there was a long history of spiritual activity ║▀█
█▀║ all arround us and, by some from natural osmosis some of this feeling ║▀█
█▀║ began working its way into our music. When we became aware of this we ║▀█
█▀║ began to deliberately explore new themes. ║▀█
█▀║ ║▀█
█▀║ The Love Philtre Magick referred to in the album title is an ancient ║▀█
█▀║ love charm or potion made from natural herbs and plants and is ║▀█
█▀║ designed like other magical spells to influence events in the mortal ║▀█
█▀║ realm. Other such scattered throughout the album. ║▀█
█▀║ Magic can be defined as any attempt to manipulate the natural state of ║▀█
█▀║ a physical entity using external forces. ║▀█
█▀║ ║▀█
█▀║ Music can be viewed as one of these forces. We found an unusual ║▀█
█▀║ example of this recording the track "Duke". Our perception of time was ║▀█
█▀║ being slowed down to such an extent we could only work on a few bars ║▀█
█▀║ at a time without becoming disoriented... The listening experience has ║▀█
█▀║ the same trancelike effect. Other tracks had different emotional ║▀█
█▀║ effects on us and confirmed a theory: once heard about the musician ║▀█
█▀║ being played by the music rather than the other way arround. ║▀█
█▀║ We have been told some of these new tracks vary in style radically. ║▀█
█▀║ This may be so but for us they retain an Akashaness central to our ║▀█
█▀║ manifesto... to make music that will take you into another space as it ║▀█
█▀║ has done us. ║▀█
