- Release Notes ------------------------------------------------------------- -
After a few self-released EPs and one previous album, GreensboroÆs sonic
sons, Glissade, are back in overdrive with their epic new full-length
ÆFurther.Æ The bandÆs sometimes drone-y, always distortion-heavy sounds are
reminiscent of the haze- induced vibes of bands like Flying Saucer Attack,
Spacemen 3 or early Spectrum. This limited vinyl version has been completely
remixed by the band since the CD release earlier this year and also includes
the stellar ÆBurned in BlueÆ EP on the æDÆ side, long out-of-print and newly
remixed as well û all housed in a gatefold jacket. Blissed-out, instrumental
space jams from North CarolinaÆs finest psychedelic shoegazers. Fire up your
headphones, sit back with the volume up and enjoy the beautiful noise. RIYL:
Flying Saucer Attack, Southpacific, Spacemen 3, shoegaze/psych rock. 1st
pressing is limited to 500 copies, with 200 on electric blue.
