Afonso Maia is the artistic name of the young music producer, Afonso
Moreira. Producer and sound technician, he was born in Lisbon in 1980
and has been living in the city of Madrid since 2000. Afonso Maia
started his creative work in 1996 with productions in the Electro,
psychedelic trance, progressive trance, and later developed into the
styles of Minimal Techno and Progressive/Techno. He has been involved in
and organised different events in the trance scene between 2002 and
2006, with the aim of promoting himself both in Portugal and in
Spain. At the moment, Afonso Maia is working with BWG RECORDS and
PSHYSICAL GRAVITY RECORDINGSS to distribute his work.
