Release Notes:

An aural sleigh ride, Hush proves that optimism needn't be
vacuous. Both classically trained musicians, the creative core
of Asobi Seksu consists of Keyboardist and lead vocalist Yuki
Chikudate and guitarist and vocalist James Hanna. The album as
a whole is much more subdued and nuanced than its first
single, 'Me & Mary' with its fierce crescendo and urgent
drums. Chikudate's voice floats like a paper airplane through
beautifully constructed soundscapes, effortlessly blending
into the musical milieu on tracks like 'Layers' and
'Mehnomae,' while Hanna's guitar cradles the listener in a
day-dreamy haze. Delicately resonant songs like 'Sunshower'
and 'Glacially' showcase the pair's harmonic compatibility.
