│ In 1994, Olivier Ruel and CΘdric Azencoth met in the offices ││
│ of the label Omnisonus, and Dax Riders was born. They ││
│ quickly released their first 12" hit "Faster than a Dax", ││
│ remastered in New York by Kirk Yano (who previously worked ││
│ on the productions of the French rap group, Supreme NTM). ││
│ Quickly Dax Riders became the rising stars in the European ││
│ underground scene (Germany, Cananda, France - best selling ││
│ maxi at BPM/Paris). Fans had to wait for a whole year for ││
│ Dax's next maxi to see the light of day. "Insert Coins EP", ││
│ was released under E-Child, the extreme division of ││
│ Omnisonus. Although their music appears on numerous ││
│ compilations, this was their last official release, ││
│ preferring instead to take some time off to work on their ││
│ album. A taste of their album can be found on the ││
│ compilation, Future Sound Of Paris. Since 1996, the Dax have ││
│ calmly built their album using new contacts and the musical ││
│ knowledge that that these contacts have brought. People such ││
│ as Vince, a rapper from Philadelphia, lends his lyrics and ││
│ style to several tracks, as well as Keith Tucker, legendary ││
│ in the Detroit scene, godfather of AUX 88, founder of Allen ││
│ FM and Optic Nerve. Last but not least, the voice of French ││
│ singer, Axelle Renoir, adds a seductive, feminine touch to a ││
│ track. Dax Riders recently gave a previously unreleased ││
│ track to the compilation, Respect to Martin Luther King. ││
│ This track is now under license with the label, Chronobrain ││
│ (Guillaume la Tortue). ││
