'Everyday' is Vetiver's first release for Bella Union in the
UK/Europe and Sub Pop in the US, the same label collaboration
that has worked together to produce the massive success of
Fleet Foxes. Vetiver's songs have been described as "dreamy,
gentle songs that George Harrison would have written in some
sunny country garden." That element is alive and well on the
sublime 'Everyday' - taken from the forthcoming album 'Tight
Knit', the forth full-length album singer/songwriter Andy
Cabic's ever-evolving musical home base. Luminous and
surprising, the album unfolds like a road trip through the
Applachian Mountains of Cabic's native Virginia. It represents
a summation of the different styles and directions heard on
past Vetiver releases, while introducing some unexpected
twists.
