Release Notes:
Acoustic-indie band from Peterborough, UK. After a year and a
half of touring to promote their first album, 'Dead Machine',
they released their debut single, 'Over The Barricade' through
their own label, Media Addiction. With support from Radio 2,
Kerrang! radio and Talksport, the single went straight in the
chart at number 35 making them only the second unsigned band
to enter the top 40 in the UK.
'Wide Awake' is beautifully melodic soft rock/indie that's
absolutely rammed full of elegant drama, overflowin' with
subtle hooks, crammed with stunning musicianship and
positively burstin' with potential. Mesh-29 certainly know how
to assemble great music; layered without being cluttered,
vibrantly dynamic without a hint of confusion and extremely
commercial without totally selling out to the pure pop sector.
'Secret Traffic' is as mature as it is innovative, as complete
as is possibly could be, as exciting as almost anything I've
ever heard from any of the 'big boys'!!
