[Release Notes]
Flying Finn Joonas Hahmo has become a prominent figure on the Anjunadeep
imprint with a string of effortlessly melodic electro-inspired numbers
and this double A-side is the latest fruit of a supreme talent's labours.
Setting the ball rolling is 'Warm Up', which as the name suggests is an
energy building early nighter loaded with the rich melodies and laid-back
grooves needed to get the evening going in style.
And continuing the trend of appropriately titled productions is the
intriguing 'Bendbass', which sees Hahmo in a much more experimental mood
as he paints a chaotic soundscape of tense breakdowns, tantalising keys,
edgy strings and most evidently a twisted, subterranean groove to bring
to a close a release that epitomises the ever-expanding range of
influences and flavours coming out of Anjunadeep right now.
