Is Asher D, real name Ashley Walters the most
successful rapper to come from the UK? Well you could
argue and say Dizzee Rascal has achieved a lot, but
then when you look at he actually has done his CV
reads like that of a big US Rap star. First up he was
an integral part of So Solid Crew and made some
memorable appearances on the ground-breaking album
æThey DonÆt KnowÆ. As an actor he has appeared in
films with 50Cent, as well programs such as Hustle and
Tuesday and other quality flicks like æBullet BoyÆ.
Now after a succession of top underground mixtapes he
unleashes his solo debut album. ThereÆs a lot to talk
to talk about here, as we get thirteen tracks produced
by the likes of Baby J, Joe Buhdah, Terror Danjah and
Maniac amongst others. Celebrity Big Brother (c'mon
Coolio you can do it! LOL) contestant Mutya Buena (ex
-Sugarbabes) features on the single æWith YouÆ, the
massive æM.O Part 2Æ featuring Durrty Goodz & Sway is
also included, as is æOwn TwoÆ featuring Chipmunk.
Other guests include female London rapper Nolay, Grime
artist Ghetto, as well as Badness, Ebru, Elrae, Paniro
Walters and Shayon. This album is quality from start
