A live mix album in the most literal and strictest sense, Nama is the verbatim
document of DJ Kentaro's live set at the Nagisa Music Festival in Tokyo, taking
in a decent helping of his own material, alongside smatterings of Afrika
Bambaataa, Hexstatic, Squarepusher, Spank Rock, and even Does It Offend You,
Yeah? Drum 'n' bass is well represented with the likes of E-Z Rollers, Sub Focus
and Ninja Tune labelmates Qemists all making appearances, plus there's a bit of
reggae and dancehall thrown in (Johnny Osbourne and Mr. Vegas vocals) to garnish
the predominantly very high tempo, high energy mix.
