Release Notes:
After a hectic and varied production schedule in the last 18
months, Rich is back to grace Spin Out once again, this time
with a three tracker EP that reflects his diverse sound of
now.
Future opens the EP with a dark and pensive moody throbbing
sound that has a severe percussive glitch with deep moving
hits and effects. The no messing relentless flow of the
looping groove with a restless soul nature works the simple
Future vocal sample and reverberating noises to maximum
effect.
The Zulu Dancer utilizes the more usual Dinsdale glitchy based
effects and sounds with clever hi tech noises and a ethnic
vocal sample that opens up a somewhat percussive techy bongo
infused tribal rhythmic feeling. Building up higher and higher
with stronger hitting percussive, deep, nagging drum elements
it╞s a sublime peak time moody floor worker.
As The Record Spins finishes off the EP with a wobbly offbeat
dirtiness, again the track seems to draw from a bit of tech,
minimal and techno that suddenly uses a clever bass and vocal
samples to slip out a totally different mood to the previous
floor movers on the EP. Relentless and looping with spacious
fills and long effects all gel together to work and mould a
very slick driving groove.
