New album of breakbeating electronica from ex-half of Red Snapper Richard Thair
and Jake Williams with a crowd friendly blend of distinctly 1998 style, live
sounding breaks, vocal samples and wikkidy wack scratching on 'Treetop
frequency' and smooth electronica on 'Skinbox'. Elsewhere there's more breaks
and bent basslines from Thair on 'Clipto', electro on 'Open the gates',
Radiohead signatures on 'Unsound skin', diet dub 'Mr. Brown', more jaunty breaks
'Dervish angel' and a moment of blissed electronica on 'the toob show'. Check.
