| Born in Sapporo, 1970, 32 year old Ken Ishii now lives in |
| Tokyo. With the release of the highly acclaimed "Jelly Tones" |
| in November 1995 Ken Ishii became at once a world renowned |
| techno artist. |
| |
| Not long after the release of Jelly Tones, he released 'Grip' |
| and the re-mix version 'Re-Grip' in 1996. Although still |
| reasonably danceable, this album represented a return to the |
| more experimental and artistic side of Ken Ishii, but at the |
| same time the album's airy smooth sounds showed a lot more |
| maturity in his work. |
