| Review: |

| In a perfect world, I wouldn't even have to review this. No one |
| would, everyone would just run out and buy every new Techno |
| Animal release and love them. But nothing's perfect, although |
| this single is definitely dope. Only two tracks, pressed onto |
| some thick ass vinyl, and low enough to blow stuff up at high |
| volumes. |

| "Brotherhood of the Bomb" begins with some dangerously powerful |
| low end sounds. Played at loud enough volumes, it could |
| probably crack walls. Then the beats and noise come in, and |
| much more in a drum 'n' bass vein than Cyclops was. There is |
| also a high noise quotient in this track, lots of distortion |
| and even some high pitched squeals. Not very complex, though |
| close listening reveals lots of small variations throughout. |
| Besides, when you're this good, you don't have to very tracks |
| dramatically to impress people. "Monolith" lives up to its |
| name, a slightly noisy breakbeat keeps up the pace, and waves |
| of sub bass just pummel you and rattle anything nearby. For |
| some reason I get an old school hip-hop vibe out of this track, |
| even with all the noise and distortion. |

| What can I say, it's Techno Animal, it's automatically great. |
| But even for them, this is probably the most impressive single |
| I've heard from Broadrick and Martin since '97's Phobic. Buy |
| it, love it. Plus, being on vinyl, it sounds great on either 45 |
| or 33 rpm. Put it on 45 for some great noisy drum 'n bass, drop |
| it to 33 for some godly sludge dub-hop. Just secure your |
| breakables before cranking it. |
