| It was 'Honey, we got the cure for your boredom!' that began it |
| all in 1997. With the ingenuity that typified Wally's Groove |
| World, an innovative record label named after a second hand vinyl |
| shop located in an anonymous basement in the bowels of Antwerp. |
| Label owner Koen Van Immerseel aka DJ Koenie took Wally's quote |
| and co-opted it. In the years that followed, Wally's attempt to |
| inject house with a shot of dancefloor energy became effective. |

| Wally's Groove World's musical style is rather difficult to |
| define, almost impossible. Balancing between intelligent deep |
| house and clicking break beats with a certain need for funk and |
| chunky tech house made Koenie's releases so unforeseeable |
| throughout the years. Wally's aim is to give promising Belgian |
| and foreign artists from the underground as soon as it appears |
| the opportunity to make the music they always wanted to but never |
| could. Just think about Swirl People, Mayaku or Marino Berardi.. |
