▓░░█ ░ RELEASE NOTES ▄▄▄▄▀▀▀
░ █ ▀ ▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀ █
█ nspiration Soul singer Douglas Willett is █
█ debuting his new CD ômyJOURNEY" that will release █
█ in early 2009. It is a true testament of the █
█ obstacles and adversity he has faced allowing him █
█ to develop his artistry into an inspirational █
█ soul album with a contemporary feel of Gospel and █
█ R&B. █
█ █
█ Growing up in Providence, KY he was raised in █
█ foster care where he discovered his talent of █
█ singing and touching the souls of people. At the █
█ age of 14, he did his first church solo, where he █
█ learned the power of music and inspiration. As a █
█ singer, he has been influenced by singers and █
█ songwriters like Stevie Wonder, Fred Hammond, █
█ Earth Wind and Fire, India Arie, Kirk Franklin, █
█ Brian McKnight, Diane Warren, and Kenny Edmonds. █
█ █
█ Douglas is no ordinary vocalist that can just hit █
█ a couple of high notes. He is a seasoned █
█ vocalist with 10 years of training and music █
█ theory with a professional vocal coach. His █
█ ultimate goal is to own his own Independent █
█ publishing company and have a successful career █
█ as a signed recording artist and songwriter. █
