Rone presents his debut full-length, entitled Spanish Breakfast. Two years ago,
Erwan Castex was an unknown in the electronic music scene. Now, after just one
solo single with his Rone project, he's already creating quite a buzz around
himself, even finding his way onto Lee Burridge's RA podcast late last year.
Castex makes music for installations, adverts and short films for a day job, but
his work as Rone focuses on lush, melancholic techno. Spanish Breakfast features
eight exclusive tracks in addition to the Burridge-championed "Bora" (which
appears here in its vocal incarnation), whilst Castex also contributes a new
version of the title track. Fans of the melodic techno of labels such as Border
Community would be wise to check out the release when it touches down on Infine
label. Enjoy!
