A night out in Oslo can offer many things, apart from the expensive
drinks and pretty girls you will prolly notice the grat music scene.
Although there are few big names on the posters (internationally
speaking), the standard these little famous artist and DJs hold is
quite extraordinary. There's nothing better than being blown away by
someone you'd at least expect it from.
One of Taster's Choice Recordings' goals is to deliver exactly that;
a series of internationally unknown DJs will be presented for the
world - and maybe the world will open its eyes and ears in regards to
the Norwegian club scene.
Our first release, Oslo Sessions Vol.1, is presented by the DJ-
brothers Thor Jacob & Johannes Smith. For years, they have been Djing
on opposite sides of the globe; Thor Jacob in Australia, and Johannes
in Oslo, Norway. This year they met up again, and began playing and
making music together. The result of their teamwork is what's in your
hand- a collection of tracks that have influenced them over the
years. No hits, just great music.
