Did you know that most Alia Vox albums were recorded between
1:00 AM and 4:00 AM? Not only because of tight recording
schedules, but also because the night creates a very special
quality of silence. This double album is the best possible
tribute to Alia Vox' short but intense history. Not just an
'anniversary CD,' Invocation to the Night is a fascinating
musical journey, based not only on existing material, but also
on unreleased recordings and on future albums (including
selections from an upcoming project entitled Jerusalem).
Recordings from the AstrΘe catalogue are also included in this
definitive overview of Jordi Savall and company's stunning
creative output. Of course, Invocation to the Night features
the deluxe packaging and beautiful artwork that we have come
to expect from Alia Vox. From the Label
