- Release Notes ------------------------------------------------------------- -

The Ramblin Dawgs formed in late 2007, making waves with their energetic rock
driven modern blues performances. Driven by Carlos ôC-Dawgö DCÆs soulful
vocals and tasteful guitar playing, Raul DCÆs thunderous drumming, Rick
FrankÆs screaming Hammond organ, and Jonas LandauÆs rock solid grooves on
bass, the buzz continued in 2008 as the band performed relentlessly
throughout and around the New Jersey area. A broad demographic of music
lovers can be counted as part of the bandÆs fan club, known as the ôDawg
Pound.ö Thirst for new yet familiar music is quenched by the band's
originality and passion when performing covers as well as self penned songs
   to packed venues.

Interestingly, the band members are as diverse in their backgrounds as their
fans are in age. Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Carlos ôC-Dawgö DC began his
music career in the Eighties with ôTNT,ö a 15 piece Latin jazz orchestra.
Influenced and inspired by the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Santana, Billy Joel,
and blues greats such as Muddy Waters, BB King, Freddie King and Eric
Clapton, he went on to form ôTripWire,ö an original rock and roll band, with
brother Raul DC who was also playing with ôStained Glass,ö a hard rock Led
Zeppelin cover band out of Kearny, NJ. After over a decade hiatus from
performing live, the brothers went on to form the Ramblin Dawgs in East
Brunswick, NJ with a vision of blending their influences and giving it a
   modern rockinÆ blues twist.

Rick FrankÆs first band experience was in the mid Sixties playing both
keyboard and guitar. Influenced at the time by the Doors, Beatles, Stones
and Hendrix, RickÆs Freehold, NJ band was managed by Tex Vinyard who happened
to also manage Bruce Springsteen. Rick went on to become a fan of blues
greats and played with Mojogypsies before becoming the next member to join
   the Ramblin Dawgs.

Completing the band is PrincetonÆs own Jonas ôBass Dawgö Landau, who has
played a wide variety of musical styles since graduating from the Berklee
College of MusicÆs Instrumental Performance program in the late 70's. During
the Eighties, Jonas played with Ron OrlandoÆs band ôNightflyer,ö a rock band
that was part of the thriving Asbury Park scene. He also played with
accomplished jazz pianist Laurie Altman before joining the Ramblin Dawgs.
From the time Jonas and drummer Raul played their first tunes together with
the band, it was apparent that they had a connection that would form a strong
rhythmic foundation and complete the bandÆs lineup perfectly.

In January 2009, the Ramblin Dawgs released a three original song CD "Rockin
Blues" on their website that was engineered and co-produced by Dan Skye
(Blues Traveler, Bon Jovi). Exhibiting a classic rock and blues influence
with an original modern twist, the songs have garnered an overwhelming
electropositive response by their fan base, "The Dawg Pound," which continue
   to grow numerically and geographically.
