"Colonialism + slavery + industrialization + capitalism produced great American
art", - a rather repulsed Theo Parrish. Socialism + the fall of the wall, +
acid-capitalism + melancholy + zest for life has created great Thuringen art,
spoken without a version by the writer of these lines. Douglas Greed attempts to
refine his style on his new 12" for Freude Am Tanzen from a danceable gloom to a
weighty aesthetic whereby his trademarked densely packed tracks remain. His
pieces have that little bit of something for the floor: concentration on the
groove paired up with an idearich and heavy deepness, spiritual thumps united
with a nocturnal glee, along with a foaminess and dirt under the fingernails.
