Paying tribute to David Lynch's classic series
of surrealist head-fucks, V/VM has constructed
an aural collage tying together fragments of
dialogue, incidental music and soundtrack to
construct an equally beguiling and confuddling
LP of midnight black humour and moods that
will leave you wondering "what the chuff have
I just been doing for the last 40 mins???".
The record comes housed in a beautiful screen
printed sleeve courtesy of Berlin based artist
Motorboy in three colour variations, and also
bears the signature of the artist alongside Lynch'sRnotes
own equation for Killer Bob, that's not to mention
the insert featuring a detailed reproduction of the
map found in the Owl Cave, just to run those chills
up yr spine again.
This is a fittingly disturbing homage from the heads
behind the hauntological Caretaker poject and many
other surrealist masterpieces that we have a serious
soft spot for.
