██▌▄▀█ YNR are continuing their organic growth from a poor ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ sounding regional label into a fully fledged power ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ house of Hip Hop in the UK with a full compliment of ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ very talented artists and top notch releases like ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ this one dropping quite regularly. This is Ricochet ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Klashnekoff's debut for the label and opens with his ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Daggo Mentality track, Reggae influenced and produced ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ by Lewis Parker it was originally available on the ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Wordlab 2 compilation LP, however, although it was ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ worthy of being released as a single then, Wordplay ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ decided to drop others. Through his hook ups with the ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Champions Of Nature and therefore Jehst, YNR picked ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ up the rights to the track and are giving it the ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ exposure it deserves. For some reason on this release ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ the word Dago gains another g, but apart from that it ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ is the same well worn track. It still sounds good ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ today and when it first came out it exploded ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ everywhere. ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Ricochet Klashnekoff proves that he isn't just a one ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ track wonder with the other track on the 12" for ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ which he borrows another CON Artist, L Dolo, to cake ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ care of duties behind the boards. As usual, fat drums ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ and pianos are thrown into the mix and the outcome is ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ a dark and brooding evocative description of life ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ round my manor. Now whilst it might not be like this ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ all over, if you act carelessly in the wrong places ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ you will feel a nine 9mm pressed up against your ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ spleen, with murder mile just up the road. ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Jankrowville. ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ There is also a remix of Jankrowville by Jehst, which ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ features totally different production and guest ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ vocals from one of the most talented MCs I have heard ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ recently Kyza. I think for the fist time a YNR ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ release gets a full picture cover, and this design by ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Jeff Metal is pretty tasty. Designed as a double A ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ side, the Daggo Mentality side features a distressed ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ picture of Ricochet Klashnekoff with an orange tint, ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ and the Jankrowville side featurins low res circling ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ vultures which definitely fit with the lyrics of the ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ track. Overall then this is a very tasty release ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ which anyone needs to go out and support, the only ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ real downside being that Daggo Mentality has been ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ thoroughly rinsed already, but you do get another ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ tasty tune and the instrumentals. ░██▌▄▀
