the man behind the beige oscillator is nicholas bussmann, and dj
attachΘ is hanno leichmann. both from berlin and ever active as
cello player and drummer, but now as producers duo.
and a duo where we gonna hear more from. they play with a
diversity of genres and influences, jazz, trip hop, groovy pieces
and even rock get exposed to wacko electro. but without that the
electronic gets the upper hand. by this you get a warm, relaxing
basis with the undertow from weird, crazy electro. a good example
is ôoscillation vs. albertö with a jazzy groove where in-between
are mixed all kinds of crazy sounds (the tone from a modem for
example). ônot realö with beats and beautiful vocal melodies done
by noelle moral, this song sounds a bit dark, trip hop alike
(tricky). but also songs where electronic plays the main role like
in ôlove burgersö gets something warm with the piano and the
distorted voice samples.
the album could be something like stÆ germain meets kid 606 (i
love you album). the electronic is however never manifesto
represented, and mostly dominates the warm grooves and jazzy
touch. very approachable release that may become a hit for me.
